Maiten® kills insects by contact, disrupting and preventing respiration of cell membrane.

The pruduct has physical effect than chemical effect.

  • Mait is most effective against soft-bodied arthropods. They ®en are most commonly used against mites, aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs and scale insects.
  • Mait control sap-sucking insect which can transmit plant ® en virus.
  • Reduce the ability of aphids to acquire the virus from an
    infected plant and transmit it to healthy plants.
  • Mait has low residual activity and must be sprayed directly ® en on the insects and mites.
  • Repeated applications of product may be needed to achieve desired levels of control.
  • Dormant oil sprays are also used against overwintering eggs and scales.
  • It’s really important to perform treatments once the first instars are present on the leaves to have a knock down effect.
  • The treatments have to be carried in the afternoon-evening and to wet well the vegetation is mandatory for the efficacy of the product.
