Palamo® is a selective and residual herbicide an inhibitor of both chlorophyll and carotenoid biosynthesis, is pre-emergence applied herbicide for controls weeds by inhibiting seedling development such as Echinochloa crus-galli and Cyperus difformis and Alisma plantago. Plant uptake of Palamo® occurs through both the roots and the foliage.

The movement of the active constituent clomazone and Pendimethalin within the plant occurs upward and outwards to the leaf. As a delayed pre-emergent application, Palamo® offers long residual control of grasses and broadleaf weeds.
